Manchego de nacimiento y corazón, vivo en Alicante desde muy pequeñito. Desde entonces estoy vinculado emocionalmente a esta tierra de grandes espacios abiertos bañados por el Mar Mediterráneo. De fotografía, todavía en pañales, empecé con una compacta kodak que guardo con cariño y de la que se puede decir, me inició en esta búsqueda que he llevado todos estos años para encontrar “mi fotografía”. Desgraciadamente mi futuro profesional se fue por otro camino dado el poco tiempo que le podía dedicar y las pocas nociones técnicas que tenía en ese momento, aunque todo quedó en mi interior… Fue con mi primera réflex digital, cuando volví a experimentar eso que tenía tanto tiempo oculto esperando a que floreciera. Desde entonces, y gracias a las posibilidades que nos brinda el mundo digital, he buscado esa fotografía que me llenase por dentro, que me gustara realizarla y sobre todo que me divirtiera en ello. He leído y admirado la obra de grandes maestros, tanto amateurs como profesionales, he asistido a varios talleres, certámenes…. de todos he aprendido algo, y lo mas importante, todavía sigo aprendiendo en este mundo lleno de caminos por recorrer que es la fotografía.

I was born in 1975 in Alcázar de San Juan, Ciudad Real, La Mancha of birth and heart, I live in Alicante from very small. Since then I am emotionally attached to this land of wide open spaces bordering the Mediterranean Sea. Photography, still in its infancy, I started with a compact kodak I keep with love and you can say, I started in this search I’ve taken all these years to find «my picture». Unfortunately my future career went the other way given the short time that he could spend and few technical notions I had at the time, but it was all inside me … It was my first digital SLR, when I came to experience that having both hidden time waiting to flourish. Since then, thanks to the possibilities offered by the digital world, I wanted that picture that would fill me inside, I liked mostly to do it and it amused me. I have read and admired the work of great masters, both amateur and professional, I have attended several workshops, contests …. all I have learned something, and most importantly, I am still learning in this world full of avenues to explore that is photography.

Aunque mi corazón es manchego, no puedo dejar de sentir una gran debilidad por el mar, tal vez por eso que muchas de mis fotos tienen al Mediterráneo como cómplice en mis escenas nocturnas. Empecé en el mundo nocturno allá por el 2005, a partir de ese bautismo nocturno, mi interés fotográfico fue acotándose a la disciplina de la larga exposición especializándome en esta disciplina tanto con luz ambiente como aportando iluminación artificial. Ver el movimiento, la luz, el color, ver aquello que de día no somos capaces de ver me dejó fascinado.

Although my heart is in La Mancha, I cannot help but feel a great weakness for the sea, perhaps that is why many of my photos have the Mediterranean as an accomplice in my night scenes. I started in the night world back in 2005, from that night baptism, my photographic interest was narrowing down to the discipline of long exposure, specializing in this discipline both with ambient light and providing artificial lighting. Seeing the movement, the light, the color, seeing what we are not able to see during the day left me fascinated.

La pasión por esta disciplina la comparto con otro estilo de fotografía mas personal, mas contemporánea, manteniéndome dentro de mi zona de confort y alejándome de las tendencias oportunistas y socio-culturales que copan el panorama actual en este sentido, no porque no me gusten los trabajos en este sentido, tengo buenos amigos con una obra impresionante en este ámbito pero sencillamente no va conmigo. Siempre intento mantener mi identidad y gusto personal por la fotografía calmada y minimalista, en donde se expresen valores puramente fotográficos, plásticos, en donde se conjuguen La técnica, el color, la luz y el momento, con el factor humano inherente a cada fotografía.

I share my passion for this discipline with another style of photography that is more personal, more contemporary, staying within my comfort zone and moving away from the opportunistic and socio-cultural trends that take over the current panorama in this sense, not because I don’t like works in this sense, I have good friends with an impressive work in this field but it just does not go with me. I always try to maintain my identity and personal taste for calm and minimalist photography, where purely photographic, plastic values are expressed, where technique, color, light and moment are combined with the human factor inherent in each photography.
